| 720004 | 2008-11-13 06:24:00 | Having upgraded to XP SP3 and Office 2007, I've discovered that the old alt-tab keyboard shortcut for switching between windows no longer works in the same way. Apart from the fact that it seems to be less efficient (which is why I never installed the XP power toy that it resembles), it now no longer allows the user to switch between (say) different Excel workbook windows opened within the once instance of Excel. The icon for the workbook comes up, but it doesn't actually switch to it, it reverts to the sheet I'm trying to switch from. I can open multiple instances of Excel, but shouldn't the new version offer better functionality, not worse? Since this capability has been one of the most useful and efficient methods of switching between multiple workbooks, can anybody advise if it is possible to disable the new alt-tab and reinstate the old? thanks! |

| 720006 | 2008-11-13 06:32:00 | Have you tried the Windows key (next to the Alt) and Tab?That Windows - TAB only toggles the buttons on the task bar, not the actual display . To make it toggle from there requires another keystroke, the ENTER KEY, and that's too many keystrokes for what worked before . But, I don't have any toggle problems with TweakUI . It works swell . |

| 720010 | 2008-11-14 04:48:00 | Uninstall the Alt+Tab replacement from within the Windows XP Powertoys. Thanks. Unfortunately this power toy seems to be wrapped up in the SP3 package, I can't see how to uninstall this feature. Although not as good, the windows key/alt/arrows seems to be the nearest alternative, I wasn't aware of this one, thanks! |

Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel or get CCleaner and use the un-install tool in it. |
