From 20 to 70 years it is a fairly even distribution. The twenties are split so add them together.

What it means is this: the group of members that are active enough to reply, who want to take part in this poll, have an age distribution as shown. What else could be interpreted from this poll? All polls have an inherent error factor - I would assume we all know this and then do not infer or extrapolate the results to something meaningless such as "5.4% of PC World magazine readers are over the age of 80".
