| 720187 | 2008-11-17 03:31:00 | Only get about a 50% success rate on refills - mostly because the printer thinks it's still empty. I've been buying cartridges off ebay lately. Haven't noticed any difference between the cheap knockoffs and genuine cartridges, and the price of both colour and black combined is less than a new genuine black cartridge. | joshjnz (7844) | ||
| 720188 | 2008-11-17 05:23:00 | If you can't afford genuine ink, you should look for a cheap printer with cheap genuine ink - it will save you a lot in the long term & you obviously aren't that worried about print quality if you are looking at getting your ink refilled. I think that epson has cheap genuine ink, and other brands might too - look at the prices for genuine ink from all brands Is there any such thing as "cheap genuine ink"? What you can get sometimes are printers on sale that may be last years model but the total price is less than the replacement cost of the included ink. |
