| 503079 | 2006-11-30 14:09:00 | That's actually pretty unacceptable for any major site these days, noting the market share that Firefox is getting. IETab is NOT firefox - it's just the IE rendering engine called from within Firefox. This has the obvious downside of not working in Linux. Plus it makes about 20% (guessing here) of their potential customers jump through hoops just to see the site. Not a good look - they'd be much better off simply writing a site that was FF compatible. Designed like that it is a site that will die. There is no way I will use it. It amuses me how they say it is compatible with Firefox an yet you have to download an addon which most people would not want because of one of the resons they use FF. The Zune is starting to look like a lead balloon. Media Player is not compatible, PlayForSure is not compatible, the broken arse media Zune player needs Xp SP2 and any song zapped to a friend wirelessly will disappear in three plays or three days wether DRM'ed or not and you have to buy a minimum of I think four hundred points with it costing I think 79 per song. There is no chance of it pushing the IPod off it's pedistal |
