Issue is that after warranty the ink may leak or such or the ink may be different than the original ink in terms of color or grayscale, they may be acceptable for text but when you print graphics its pretty obvious. They also provide a service that you get a discount if you bring your ink cartridge in, they will refill it for you for like 6 week warranty. If they are too busy they may just take your "good" cartridge and give you one already made on the shelf that you may not know the true history of or how many rounds of refill it has been via. |

| 502349 | 2006-11-28 09:29:00 | i cannot stop laughing.... Well, you are world famous on Google now. A search on "Catraiges" gives your secret to the world :D One of the google ads took me here (www.ecbinkjet.com.au), so advertising works. I think I will get one of their continuous ink supply systems for an Epson that is languishing on an upper shelf. I like the printer fine, but the ink prices and the damn fool chip on the cartridges that cuts you off when the ink is not empty was a complete rectal trauma. Now, if I have 100 ml ink tanks, the thing becomes economic at last and I can give away this el-cheapo that has the sole benefit of being refillable  IF it lasts through the full 100 ml, it will be like twenty pairs of cartridges for the price of one pair  Thanks gum digger ! Has anybody any experience with this (www.ecbinkjet.com.au) crowd? |

| 502350 | 2006-11-28 17:11:00 | Are those large tanks an option for Epsons? I hate buying carts for them....although on my Canons, I have refilled over and over both the color and black cartridges...probably over 30 or 40 times for the blacks alone...and only had one get rotten. I use whatever ink is on special, and even used Epson refill kits on the Canons with no problems. HP inks are very... very high color saturation though and just made various shades of grey in the Canons. |

There are kits for other types / brands. I guess it is a case of nothing venture. nothing win, so I will have to hit up the plastic card and see what happens when the kit arrives. I agree that Canon cartridges take happily to many refills, it sure beats buying the OEM ink (in cartridges) at around $16,000 a litre. (Or $15,000 a quart for you yesterday people.) |

| 502352 | 2006-11-29 00:53:00 | You can get bulk ink types, they are larger bottles of ink that sits on the desk and a little hose goes comes out of the printer and into your bottle. Epson I know support those. | Nomad (952) | ||
| 502353 | 2006-11-29 00:56:00 | I know the Epson 2100/2200 is supported thou. But if ya printing accurate photographs and such I think you should stick with Epson inks or least get the inks calibrated with a "spectrophotometer". |
