720246 2008-11-14 21:32:00 When buying Windows software, is it best to stick with the reputable dealers, or for software can you go to the cheaper ones?

OEM MS software doesn't come with support, so therefore it would be logical (in my mind) to go to the cheaper dealers and save $ - software doesn't 'die' like a motherboard does....

Is PB in Wellington a reputable dealer????

Any thoughts?

720247 2008-11-14 22:31:00 I've had VERY good past experiences with PBTech, so I would say they're quite reliable.
This is the penrose branch in Auckland though, but I would expect something similar in Wellington

720248 2008-11-15 00:23:00 Yep. I'll back PB Tech too. I got a great deal on a notebook a few years ago from them and it's still ticking along good as. I get smaller stuff from them now and then too, no probs. sal (67)

Yep. So long as you can trust them to actually send it out.

I've decided to go to PB Tech in Wgtn to get the software I want (www.pbwellington.co.nz).

Will I need to buy a piece of hardware with it?
