721064 2008-11-18 03:24:00 I have dissabled some functions so now I can only use windows standard/classic, and neither of the Windows Vista options in "Windows Colour and Appearance"

Any clues on how to bring it back?

721065 2008-11-18 03:29:00 What happens if you click on "Open classic appearance properties....." on the Window colour and appearance page? jwil1 (65)
721066 2008-11-18 04:25:00 As jwil1 mentioned, click Open classic appearance from the drop down menu select Windows Aero - Right click the desktop, Personalization -> Window Color & Appearance -> Open classic appearance ->Windows Aero. wainuitech (129)
721067 2008-11-19 03:17:00 As jwil1 mentioned, click Open classic appearance from the drop down menu select Windows Aero - Right click the desktop, Personalization -> Window Color & Appearance -> Open classic appearance ->Windows Aero.

This is what I get

721068 2008-11-19 03:43:00 What files and folders exist in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes? jwil1 (65)
721069 2008-11-19 04:22:00 Cant actually see the window, but see if this is of any help (vistasupport.mvps.org)

If not, click the start Orb in the search type in services - when it appears, RIGHT click it, run as Administrator - scroll down and make sure both Themes and Desktop Windows Manager Session Manager services are running / started, if not then double click them, select Automatic / Start. Then Reboot.
