721058 2008-11-18 03:19:00 Hi all

I am looking for a cheap (sub $100) keyboard (or mouse and keyboard), as my the z,x, c, v, <Esc> and <Enter> keys have ceased to work on my main keyboard (MS Comfort Curve 2000).

I am considering going wireless, but I am happy to go wired if I see a set I like.

I am currently looking at the Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard 3000 (~$60) or the wireless version of it that comes with a wireless mouse ($100 at DSE).

I like MS stuff - but am happy to go to another brand if I like what I see.

Any ideas on a good setups? (this $15 DSE one is killing me :p)

I bought my parents the wired version of that a few months back and it's really nice.

721062 2008-11-18 03:34:00 What's Logi's software like now?

I bought a Logitech mouse and the software screwed up PowerPoint's scolling so I could only scroll 3 slides at a time - unless the number of lines to scroll was set to 1 in teh mouse properties - too small for everyday use IMO.

After all that I assume I need to install the s/w for the multimedia buttons to work?

KB yes, mouse no.
