503933 2006-12-03 01:48:00 My regulatory Telecom split-up would also consist of three parts .

Part one: Drop kick Gattung from the sky jump platform [630ft] on Skytower . . . . . but instead of the controlled 75kph,you will be able to watch from the ground "Go Large" in all it's glory . This will be delivered at "Max" [terminal velocity - 195kph] for your enjoyment . :D Further to the above, all of the money this woman has pillaged from Telecom since her inauguration [salary 3 million x 7 - total $21 million][shares -1 . 4 million @ $4 . 50 per share - total 6 . 3 million] Total $27 . 3 million in 7 years as the CEO of Telecom will be donated to charity .

Warning!! . . . . Content may make you vomit . :yuck:

Part two: Call a ambulance for Boyd and have him dropped off at Admatha Dementia Care in Christchurch . I'm sure he will enjoy familiar surroundings .

Part three: Make Tim Miles new CEO of Telecom N . Z

A new Telecom structure is being built from the top down, layer one being chief executive Ms Gattung .

For now . Tim Miles, the former boss of Vodafone New Zealand, has been tipped to take over .

And then and only then will the "stand and deliver" "highway robbery" cease to function as there default marketing model .

Telecom split by years end:  :D

Until they decided to sell to vodafone. I don't know if Vodafone will invest the 10s of millions ihug originally promised, as it doesn't reflect a very good investment and vodafone concentrate largely on wireless. I suspect eventually vodafone will want to move most ihug customers over to the wireless system.

It may for a while if the speeds get better then what we currently get with ADSL.

“ihug already has a strong brand in the ISP broadband market which New Zealanders identify with, a
capable management team and we fully support their growth plans.”

Personally, I think WIMAX or a future long distance wireless technology would be cheaper to implement instead of ripping up the earth and laying the expensive fibre. Maybe this technology would be embraced by Vodafone in years to come? Dont know.
