Sorry, I just think that is rather unnecessary. :) I was chating to JamesKan about these awards last night & JamesKan said the reason why he asking everyone to confirm whom we have already nominated was because some people choose more then two people to be nominated. |

So all he has to do is collate everyone's names who've been nominated, take the ten most frequent, and add them to the poll at the end. Who cares how many people someone nominates. Easy peasy. And I'd like to add a few more... Godfather, Foxy, Metz, Jen (hmmm, ok yeah Jen), Pctek, Drcspy, Terry, Billy T, Steve L and Chilly. So there! :p |

Greg, if I don't put a number for how many members we can nominate, then we might as well just nominated everybody. The reason I chose the number "2" is because when it comes to voting, we more or less have made up our mind as to who to vote for in the final poll. If I had chosen the number "10", then you guys might have a hard time choosing the best out of the best in the final round of battle. Also, some members won't revisit this thread again after nominating, and therefore a change in the number of nominees would mean unfairness to them as they nominated only two, while others more than two etc. You might think that these are worthless excuses, but I am sure we can determine a better number in the future. To Jen and Cicero, what I really intended was to check through and tell me whether there is a discrepancy as to who you had intended to nominate and what had appeared in the nominee list that I had put up yesterday night. But obviously, I had used the wrong word. :o Cheers :) And thanks for all the support and responses, people! I didn't expect any roaring posting from you guys since I am good at making useless threads. |
