721240 2008-11-18 08:20:00 I hope this isnt stupid question of the year.
When I reply on an email how do I get the text to be blue .
When I had W98 with a low numbered version of OE it did it automatically
I know how to change font on a new message but if I create a new email I wouldnt want blue text.
Thanks for any help

721241 2008-11-18 09:36:00 Don't have OE to test this out but try this:

* Select Tools | Options... from the menu in Windows Mail or Outlook Express.
* Go to the Compose tab.
* Under Compose Font, click the Font Settings... button next to Mail:.
* Choose the desired font and color.
* Click OK.

Cheers

721242 2008-11-18 09:40:00 Just done a bit of looking and I dont think you can change it for replies, just looked in OE and there doesn't appear to be a change font color for replies only.

What you can do is on the replied mail, before you start typing change the Format / Font color (www.imagef1.net.nz) and what ever you change it to will be for that mail.

In Outlook 2007, its in Tools -> Options -> Mail Format tab -> Stationery and Fonts -> Pick a new color when replying or forwarding.

Hopefully this will help you find it in Outlook 2003.
