720927 2008-11-17 22:00:00 My bosses daughter always ruins DVD bought for her either scratching or covering in cake(I think shes's five). So I told my boss to back them up with dvdshrink seeing as it can do the whole job but he says it won't let him RIP it. I'm thinking some sort of copyright protection.
What would you guys recommend to do the job.
I am trying to make this sound as less dodgy as possible.

720928 2008-11-17 22:24:00 Download and install DVD43 (http://www.dvd43.com/).
This runs in the background and removes any protection/region settings so DVD Shrink should work fine.

I'll give it ago tonight.
Have you used it personally should I scan for spyware/malware.

720930 2008-11-17 22:36:00 Always scan any download :)

DVD43 is a great little programme and should be safe from "bugs", but it pays to check - regardless of what site you have downloaded it from.
