| 720760 | 2008-11-17 02:42:00 | The nVidia desktop manager icon constantly disappears from the taskbar of my XP PC. Whenever I reintall it or update the driver it comes back for a while (usually until the computer is restarted) and then vanishes again. If I then go into the settings panel and try to reinable the icon, it seems to appear for like a millisecond and then one again disappears. | samnorr (13776) | ||

Hide Inactive Icons is turned on, but why would it matter? I am intelligent enough to know to click on the little arrow button, you know. |

Try turning Hide When Inactive (Show in other words) off for that icon (click the Customise button in Taskbar & Start Menu Properties>Notification Area tab), it wont disappear then! No need for an attitude mate, we're trying to help you . |
