504649 2006-12-06 11:17:00 Is it possible, without an extra subscription, to connect two TV's to receive Sky at the same time? Greg (193)
504650 2006-12-06 11:23:00 Yep, but they will both be showing the same channel. R2x1 (4628)
504651 2006-12-06 11:28:00 Sweet, thanks. I suppose the guys at DSE will advise me on the cabling required? Greg (193)
504652 2006-12-06 12:12:00 A few years ago.We got sky to do that for us at our house

My grandparents was in the lounge and my auntie was in her room.It was about 30-50 metres away from each other

Sky did it for us free of charge

504654 2006-12-06 20:20:00 You can get one of those video senders.

Then u wont need any wires. All you have to do, is tune the 2nd TV in. To get the signal.

sky never does anything free of charge. sounds like you got a nice kind installer :)

video senders.... i hate the uhf/vhf ones. get a GHZ one as the others can cause all sorts of problems to others and not to mention send your <cough> home movies <cough> to all your neighbours . BTW they are also ilegal if causeing inteference, known to be confiscated if they cause problems.

504656 2006-12-06 21:28:00 Since I don't have UHF/VHF antenna and the house was prewired so every antenna wall socket in the house were split/connected to a single RF cable for roof top antenna installation.

I then bought a decent spliter and did some wiring in the roof, I connected the RF out from SKY decoder into my antenna wall socket and whola! .. The entire house wall sockets have SKY :D

504657 2006-12-07 06:27:00 That's the way, now all you need is IR repeaters and an extra remote and you can play "I'm watching this channel. NO I'm watching THIS channel, NO...etc" :D pine-o-cleen (2955)
