| 721737 | 2008-11-20 22:18:00 | i have a series of data values taken at different dates. I have information for individuals taken every 6 weeks or so in different cycles (ie number 1 is taken on week 1 and week 6, sample 2 is taken week 2 and week 7 etc etc). From this i am trying to produce a graph showing the values vs time but cannot link the points together via interpolation. Only using trendlines which does not give me what I am after. Any advice or suggestions ? |

This graph type doesn't assume a linearly increasing "X" series like a line chart does (as you've found out). So your data should look something like: Weeks Value 1 123 2 234 7 456 Note that the weeks is a number not text like "Week 1". If you want it to display like that then format the cells choose custom and put in <"Week" #> without the angle brackets. HTH Dave |
