Although with Sony's PS3 delayed til march and Microsoft dominating with their 360, do you think that 3rd party developers will embrace the Wii as they will the Xbox an PS3 or will it be the recipent of shoddy ports and crappy games? I mean the new Zelda looks like perfection and the new Super Smash Bro's coming out later next year... Starring Solid Snake himself :) But what else is there? Are the current launch titles anything to go by? And I don't count the "Virtual Console" as a game... Who would pay $20 for a N64 Game, no packaging, no manual... I know Rare got brought out by Microsoft and produced that Perfect Dark Zero for 360. Back onto the matter at hand, Is Nintendo really going to be more supportive of Third party developers with the Wii than the N64? I'm not insulting the N64 but compared to the PS1... Nintendo's game range was a drop in a bucket. |

He seems to think games are best on the tv but then those pple who get computers prob don't need P4 to do emails and write essays but if you play games its a necessity. I have always thought the Nintendo had a diff market, like always from the v serious gamer, it was more of the fun games or cartoon games, we had a Nintendo bought overseas in like 1988. He is probably thinking of the fun factor of the Nintendo than all the fancy sounds and graphics of the Xbox and PS3. |

Problem is that most developers are targeting the mainstream gamers rather than all ages. Which is going to be a thorn in Nintendo's side. Then again, I've always been a quality rather than quantity guy when it comes to games. And I've always found that Nintendo up in the quality side of things. I haven't yet played Zelda yet, since my brother is playing it and I'm completing off Majora's Mask. But I can't help but drool at the gameplay... Perhaps this is the time to test the backwards compatibility of the Wii. I'm suprised that there was no Mario launch title... |
