Set it to run as a service so that is running all the time in the background. Set up a network and a good password and it's done. Now where ever you are in the world just download Hamachi, only a small download, and run it and connect to your network using the network name and password you set up at home. Once connected it's like you are on your LAN at home and it is a secure connection. No need to fiddle with router port forwarding or anything like that either  If you want remote desktop and file transfer use UltraVNC on top of Hamachi. |
