505898 2006-12-12 09:04:00 Near worthless, Its only parts not a computer.

Case, second hand, worth $60 to $80, Used budget cpu and budget mobo, $40 to $50 at best.

505899 2006-12-12 09:36:00 I saw a ThermalTake Mambo on pricespy for $84 I believe, so I'll buy a second hand one in a decent condition for about $50. Or $60 if I feel charitable lol. qazwsxokmijn (102)
505900 2006-12-12 09:53:00 Are you going to include an Windows OS with this? If you are not, you could offer the PC preinstalled and configured with Linux which may attract someone wanting to play with Linux. Make sure you add all the multimedia support to it first if the distro does not include this by default. From my past (granted limited) experience, selling a computer with Linux is like trying to sell Metla on Wall Street..... nigh on impossible. You might get one or two takers however, ya just never know. Auckland is by far a larger market than the Naki.

Personally, I'd throw it on trademe, try it first as a complete unit, then as parts. You would probably get more if sold as parts

505902 2006-12-12 10:08:00 I spit on wall Street.Thats half the reason I couldn't sell you ... those suits don't like their Armani's getting spit on :) Myth (110)
505903 2006-12-12 10:13:00 The other half of the reason is that would have you turfed out or most probally shot on the spot the minute they laid eyes on you, You wouldn't even get to start your sales pitch or have me do my routine. Metla (12)
505904 2006-12-12 11:24:00 well i got more than $150 for a 533MHZ system earlier this year that my friends wouldn't even take for free - i sold it as parts

The Computer:
