The One I have running in the workshop that I was mucking about with is a celeron 2.4 with 512 Mb RAM.

722360 2008-11-24 07:24:00 Yeah just been out to the shed to check it is a P3 733MHz with 256, will give it a go tomorrow eve as have a spare HDD I can install it on without having to uninstall XP from the other HDD.

Its actually one of the easier Linux distro's , that I have played with to actually understand from a Non Linux users point of view - hell the file sharing was even dead easy to setup.

:horrified:horrified:horrified:horrified :lol: But they give away lots of better stuff - they also have their own OS, called UserOS - an altered Ubuntu that works very well .

722366 2008-11-25 05:22:00 It is from OZ but as Wainui said they give away good stuff although I don't buy it all the time I just keep an eye out fro what they are offering. I will have it running this week won't be tonight now though sadly gary67 (56)
