| 507498 | 2006-12-18 00:23:00 | Hey there and seasons greetings to you all :) Here's a screenie of the puppy installed on my toshiba laptop . . . . imagef1 . net . nz/files/puppy_on_toshi . jpg" target="_blank">www . imagef1 . net . nz I've added some extra's including: Blender Gimp Python 2 . 4 SDL Conky System monitor I made the above desktop using a screenie of blender loaded with the opening scene from "Elephant's Dream" (http://orange . blender . org/) and a screenie of gimp doing the editing with the puppy chucked in too . :thumbs: The icons are from an "Ubuntu" package and I am still running the default Window manager atm . . . So, how's your puppy look? |

Just been watching some of the "Making of Elephants Dream" on YouTube. Blender is a very powerful tool. I started to play with it a while ago and got as far as making a 3D'ish Gingerbread Man following a how-to. :rolleyes: |

The blender is an excellent program and a credit to the open source community. I've used it for a number of years and it just gets better and better. |

| 507506 | 2006-12-18 06:44:00 | Most burning progs have a special menu you select to burn an iso image so that it is bootable. Wot are you using? ps. If your unsure use a re-writable cd until you've got the settings sorted.:thumbs: |
