507052 2006-12-16 01:14:00 Google has expanded the scope of its search activities once again with the beta launch of Google Patent Search. The patent search engine allows users to search through the full text of over 7 million patents issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office and works much like Google's Book Search.

507053 2006-12-16 02:23:00 It works well.

I searched for the original US patents for a number I have that had been applied for and issued by the Patent Office London in the 1960s.

It was sufficient to put the inventors name into the advanced search, and up they popped.
I didn't have the US patent numbers, or the US titles, the titles had been changed a little when the UK patents had been applied for.
