| 723008 | 2008-11-26 02:17:00 | Has anyone tried to download the beta of the new UBCD? There is a link to a torrent download on their website, but no joy there, couldn't connect to the tracker. managed to find one on The Pirate Bay but that only has 3 seeds, none of which I can connect to. Anyone know of a working link? HTTP, FTP or Torrent is fine. Thanks! Edit - OK I got the name wrong. It's version 5.0b5. :p |

Now if you had a FTP Server I could grab it from there. Old technology but Just set one up over the weekend so I may put it on there if anyone want's it, works good with FileZilla (http://filezilla-project.org/) client. Don't know if its a true transfer rate, but when doing the setup it was advised to transfer from the FileZilla client as a test on your own PC, the storage folder is on another PC in the workshop, and its the same as if someone else was transferring from someplace else since you are actually using the Internet, not the LAN - Transfer Rate (www.imagef1.net.nz) of 5 MB/s (average). Web browsers make crap FTP clients. Edited: apart from opera, that works fine. |
