| 722900 | 2008-11-25 09:14:00 | Running Zone Alarm pro ( update around 10 days ago) and getright.. Everything has been working okay for the last few years regarding these two bits of software. Then I noticed PC was crawling along at certain times and CPU was at 100%...Then noticed that vsmon.exe(Zone Alarm) appeared to be kicking in at certain times and everytime it did the CPU went to 100%...and the PC crawled along. Then realised tonight, every time I use Getright to download a file, vsmon.exe does its thing and kicks up into 5th gear hogging the CPU etc etc. Pause the download and vsmon.exe goes back to zero as does CPU.. Is this a conflict or is vsmon.exe actually trying to do something useful here? Any tips greatfully accepted. |
