722839 2008-11-25 07:54:00 *cough* SCAM

Taly-most of these "softwares" to watch TV on PC are scams
Try something like Joost or Veoh if you want to watch a few programs
Or Hulu.(You need Hotspot Shield to get aroung the USA only restriction)

I'm sure other PF1'ers can give you a few more good online TV services

Cheers

722840 2008-11-25 08:02:00 Following on by what Blam said which is under stated - a LOT of those are scams, and god knows what junk is brought into your PC.

Tried it a while back from a program that was in a Computer mag - ditched it after 10 minutes, lag , not available etc.

If you want to try without actually downloading anything have a look at This site (www.watchtvonpc.net/) this is a Common style Message (http:)

722843 2008-11-25 20:35:00 It's also worth pointing out that threads like this are skirting close to breaking the rules of this forum:

This also covers advice on how to illegally gain access to a commercial service, such as Sky TV. 722844 2008-11-26 06:26:00 Online TV is not illegally gaining access to a commercial service.
And we're telling him to keep away from it, not gain access to it:p
