2008-11-25 06:48:00 | Hello members Does anyone of you know of a small ethernet printer server that would be compatible with a Brother MFC 7820n and a Canon S6300 inkjet printer. The preferential would be as mentioned above or if that would not work ,then a wireless router/modem with print server attached (inbuild). Any chances on that? Lots of stuff around but it just seems to be difficult to find the right one. Thanks

2008-11-25 07:27:00 | Here's one (www.pbtech.co.nz). Just be aware most print servers don't support anything other then printing with multi-function printers. | stormdragon (6013) | |
2008-11-25 07:33:00 | I haven't looked at the links yet but as much as I remember I have seen sub print servers?? | notechyet (4479) | |
2008-11-25 07:47:00 | Well that Brother printer is a network printer already so no need for a print server for it. | CYaBro (73) | |
2008-11-25 07:49:00 | This is the compatability list I have found for the Wl600 G www.asus.com The WL500 g does have a slight better chance of being any use to me as the Brother MFC 9880 and a Canon 9880 are listed. The trouble is that the servers are all newer models and the printers are slightly aged. Don't know what to do??

2008-11-25 07:50:00 | Well that Brother printer is a network printer already so no need for a print server for it. So I just need to find a little one for the Canon S6300. I rang Canon (NZ) some time ago and they could not help me re what brand or model of server to buy..

2008-11-25 09:38:00 | Hi Gion Why muck around with printer servers etc? Old school!! Get with it. Last Saturday I introduced the members of this forum to PRINTERSHARE (www.printeranywhere.com). Easy to set up, easy to use. Cost? There is none!! Free. Yah can't beat that. BURNZEE
