722761 2008-11-25 02:26:00 Hi Team,
I've asked this once before but still haven't been able to solve the problem.

The Recently used documents folder on my start menu has dissappeared.

The folder is still in the documents and settings / user section of the win2K drive but no documents are getting put in there.

I have run "repair windows" and tried the fixes suggested earlier, see :-

pressf1.pcworld.co.nz

but none of these worked.
How can I fix this ?

Cheers,
Phil.

722762 2008-11-25 02:43:00 Right click on the start button. Click properties. Click customize. Click advanced. Down the bottom tick the box beside "list my most recently opened documents".

Click ok twice.

Hi Jwil1,
This has restored the "documents" back on to the start menu but no used documents are being put in to this folder or displayed on the start menu.

It's a start, nearly there.

Any idears what needs doing now ?
Cheers,
Phil.

You've rebooted a few times since putting the documents folder back on the start menu?

Hi,
Yes, twice and tested with various documents.
The "Documents" on the start menu remains empty.
So does the "recent" folder in docs and settings.
That is there are no shortcuts to the documents recently used.

Cheers,
Phil.
