| 722728 | 2008-11-25 01:33:00 | Have you got Service Pack 1 for Vista installed? That improved some issues that Vista has resuming from sleep mode. The simple answer is don't use sleep mode, its a great idea but MS have never really perfected it. |

Sleep, hibernation and standby modes are optimised mainly for laptop computers and, as you have found out, they do not always work as they should on desktop computers due to hardware configuration conflicts and sometimes software. As mentioned previously you are best to just not use it. |
