| 722514 | 2008-11-24 09:02:00 | Hi All...Mrs Maryann has a problem. Xp Home. We use OE for our emails. Until recently it has been possible to Attach/Insert a phto to an email & no problems. The photos are sized correctly for emailing. Something has changed. When we try to attach a photo now, it wants to send it in parts, more than one email. Why?? Thanks PJ:confused: |

| 722518 | 2008-11-24 10:20:00 | Hi Poppa John Nothing special about .dat, it can be just about anything: text, graphic, or general binary data. There is no specific structure for a .dat file. I wouldn't expect a photo in nomal circumstances to be a .dat however. You say the photos are sized correctly for e-mailing. How are you doing this? Check how they are saved at this point. BURNZEE |

To turn it off in OE, go to Tools > Accounts. Highlight the account that you are using. Select Properties > Advanced tab. Uncheck "Break apart messages larger than x kb" |
