| 508557 | 2006-12-21 09:41:00 | The other day me and my brother were playing silly buggers (as silly buggers do) and I happened to be eating a banana... we were running around and I put a bit of the banana skin outside his case, and the other bit inside his [my] case, on the metal on the bottom. He found the one outside the case, but the one inside he found a while later. He took that skin and put it in my laptop and closed the lid (!!!!!). I find it two days later. The screen and touchpad/wristwrest are sticky and it looks like the banana has seeped into the screen itself as there is a dark banana shaped mark. I have cleaned with antistatic alcohol wipes but only the sticky bits came off. Go ahead and laugh, but for us this has gotten a little out of hand as we are fighting now over who should fit the bill for the screen repair. My Parents and brother: Say it is my fault because I started it by putting the banana skin in his computer. Me: I say he should pay it because he over reacted and applied the said fruit to a sensitive LCD surface, when I only put it on metal where it could cause no harm in a case that I own! Also, could I take this to a small claims court? Cheers, Hamstar |

It's weirder that you thought you had had the last prank, it's hopelessly brainless that you did not consider that escalated retribution was a distinct probability. After an hour or so, you should have been extracting the missing information by fair means or foul, for that is what brothers do. What they are for is sharpening your wits. It would be nice to think that in time you will thank your brother for teaching you two valuable lessons. |

| 508564 | 2006-12-21 18:14:00 | How old is your brother? I think if he is old enough to obviously know the consequences of putting a wet, sticky object inside a laptop, he should pay for it, if he isn't, then tough for you. | george12 (7) | ||

Thats a good way to ecalate playing stupid games to an all out family fight. |
