| 722879 | 2008-11-26 23:10:00 | Coz I can, and most ISP's used to but probably dont now. And according to the Xtra site, if they give you a modem, you have a contract, break it, you pay 199.. It maybe different, if you have your own modem And if you dont have home phone whatever is it, you pay $10 extra. Are you aware of the "churn" fee AND 12 month contract @ xnet now? As of November 1 2008 there is a $99 disconnection fee if a customer cancels their service within the first 12 months. This fee reduces by $8.25 for each month your service is active with WorldxChange (ie: after 6 months the disconnection fee will be $49.50). When joining from another provider, a churn fee of $25 is applicable. |
