722750	2008-11-27 23:05:00	No other computers on the network and it never used to be like this. :confused: When the lap happens, the CPU Usage shoots up a considerable amount, usually hitting 100% for a moment before calming down again. It happens every 10 or so seconds and is one never ending cycle. It really does feel like something is running in the background that I don't want to be... Would it be like that if it was a problem with my internet connection? Any help much appreciated. :(	Sunrise (14356)

While Java could be the problem it sounds more like something else is running in the background. Then reopen main menu, this time select "open the Misc Tool Section" - select " generate startup Log" - copy paste the complete log back here as well.	wainuitech (129)

722753	2008-11-29 21:32:00	Thanks for the replies. I connected using ethernet and it's exactly the same. It only happens when I'm on something like really intensive that requires a constant connection, any other time my CPU Usage ranges from around 1 - 10%. Any ideas on what to try/do next?
