| 723005 | 2008-11-26 00:48:00 | A friend has an xp machine with 1 hdd split into 3 partitions with 2 users. System was booted to "d" or "e" partition with the xp boot manager , "c" was shared data files, music etc. previously "d" partition was hidden from "e" partition system user and vice-versa. Cannot remember how I managed it. can someone jog my memory please |

| 723007 | 2008-11-26 09:14:00 | Right Click my Computer Select Manage Select Disk Management Right Click the Partition you want to hide Select Change Drive Letters and Paths Choose Remove If the partition is not needed for the boot or the system you will be able to hide the partition. To access the partition again you will have to do as above but instead of remove, assign a drive letter. |
