1433289	2017-03-25 23:32:00	Hey guys Just wondering, on a laptop I'm looking at what 1.6 GHz, up to 2.56 GHz means? where does the 2.56 ghz come in ? Also out of the AMD Dual-Core E1-6015 APU & Intel Pentium N3710 processor, which is better? or is there not much in it? Cheers :)	pct (16854)
1433290	2017-03-25 23:54:00	Want a dumb answer then :p Only joking. The difference in CPU ranges, can mean one of two things. Either the laptop comes in different performance options, meaning the lower end model is a 1.6 while the top end, more expensive model is 2.56 OR it can also mean the 1.6 can be over clocked to 2.56, But that's quite a jump. The CPU E1 compared to the Pentium -- The Pentium N3710 easts the E1 in performance tests and spits it out. The E1 is REALLY low. Have a look at the bench mark tests www.cpubenchmark.net The E1 sits at 877 Where as the Pentium sits at 1869. ( higher the number the better)	wainuitech (129)

Er...it's referring to the graphics. The Intel HD Graphics 405 (Braswell) is an integrated graphics card in the low end SoCs of the Braswell series (e.g. Pentium N3710). It ... offers less shader cores and slower clock speeds. The GPU was simply called Intel HD Graphics (Broadwell) before 2016 and included also the slower 12 EUs version in the Celeron model. The Graphics 405 name currently only stands for 16-core-versions in Pentium models. The clock speed and memory configuration can still vary from model to model. (This is why the difference, it's the GPU, not the CPU) Gaming performance ist still only suited for older or less demanding games. Plus I wouldn't by an end-user HP. 1433293	2017-03-26 04:05:00	Just referring to the turbo boost actually, laptops use it much more aggressively. Meaning it'll clock at 1.6 for less demanding tasks and crank itself up to 2.56 when required, providing it doesn't overheat which will slow it back down. ark.intel.com	dugimodo (138)
