1431839 2017-02-13 01:11:00 Can anyone recommend a good set of full size headphones that arnt too pricy.
Looking for wired type that would be comfortably to wear long enough to watch a full movie.
Last set I had was over 30 years ago.
Tried some earbuds but the tone was crap.

Check out the Sennheiser HD 202. Been having a few clearence sales on them lately. Mine have had some rough treatment, still going ok.

So, are you happy with the sound?

1431843 2017-02-13 07:21:00 Audio Technica have a good range, a year ago I bought the ATH-M40x model from mighty ape.
They are very comfortable, as I have worn them in my job for up to 3 hours while on the move constantly.

I use them for listening to music from my cellphone and the sound quality is great.
One reason I chose them was that they have a replaceable headphone jack (3'5mm each end)

Heres the link to the headphones on pricespy

Wow they are over $200 now, I got them on special for $150

1431844 2017-02-13 18:11:00 Got granddaughter a pair from the Warehouse for $10. She's very happy with them. Blue and white, so not the usual boring black too. pctek (84)
1431845 2017-02-13 19:34:00 Yeah have to wonder if my old ears would notice any difference between a $10 Warehouse set or one of the $50 - $100 ones I have on my short list. Driftwood (5551)
1431846 2017-02-13 19:55:00 The famous brand name headphones seem to have a huuuuge markup on them . You arnt getting what you pay for. 1101 (13337)

I'll second this choice. Bought some a while ago for about $80.00 from DSE and they're perfectly adequate for their intended purpose. There's no doubt better and worse, however I did a fair whack of research before parting with my coin and these reviewed well.
