| 1432609 | 2017-03-08 03:31:00 | Hi All. Toshiba computer. W10. On every other computer I ever had it was possible to open the disc drawer by pressing it. I am sure this one used to as well. Why won't it? Is it something to do with MS udgrade to stop playing DVDs?. Thanks. PJ |

It opens Via power / button, by pushing it , it releases the mechanical catch and pops open slightly. If its not powered up then it wont open manually. (unless you use the bypass to open it) |

| 1432611 | 2017-03-08 03:57:00 | File explorer computer (this computor ?) right click the dvd drive : click eject some dvd drives can be a bugger to get to open with the 'open' button press press press press press press press press press press press press press press press press press press press press , then it opens :badpc: or use a straightened paper clip, there will be a small hole, push paper clip into hole to release the latch |
