1432609 2017-03-08 03:31:00 Hi All. Toshiba computer. W10.

On every other computer I ever had it was possible to open the disc drawer by pressing it. I am sure this one used to as well. Why won't it? Is it something to do with MS udgrade to stop playing DVDs?. Thanks. PJ

It opens Via power / button, by pushing it , it releases the mechanical catch and pops open slightly. If its not powered up then it wont open manually. (unless you use the bypass to open it)

:badpc:

or use a straightened paper clip, there will be a small hole, push paper clip into hole to release the latch
