723292 2008-11-27 00:09:00 My harddrive is divided into two partitions. The C drive is 11.6 GB and the D drive 60.9 GB. I'm running Windows XP Pro. I need to resize the C drive so that it has enough GB to enable defragmentation. I only have 304 MB free memory. How can I resize the C Drive and what is the best progam to use to do this. I prefer freeware. cpcarter (14362)

723294 2008-11-27 00:50:00 You should defrag before resizing partitions.
You should move data from C: to D: then defrag before you resize.

723295 2008-11-27 02:29:00 One that free - easy to use is Easeus Partition Manager (www.partition-tool.com) - When doing any resizing of partitions, it always pays to back up any data first, just in case things turn to custard. Screen shots (www.partition-tool.com) wainuitech (129)
