I recorded last night's and I've watched it several times trying to decipher what the Geordie mouse with the buck teeth was saying. It's fascinating listening to his accent. Is it English he's speaking? He's almost impossible to understand. When Geordies hear the Kiwi accent, can they understand us? Or are we as difficult to understand as we find them? I worked in London with a Geordie and he had no problem understanding me, in fact more than a few times i had translate his "english" into my english because some of the West Indians we worked with had problems understanding him |
