511135 2007-01-01 00:31:00 $15.90 PER MONTH !!!!!!

just exactly what sort of security service was that ($190 per year) OUCH.....

Thats anti virus and anti spam software. It is about the same price if you buy the software yourself from an antivurus company on a monthly subscription.

511136 2007-01-01 02:25:00 Xtra security suite (xtra.co.nz) - $7.95 per month for ONE license. Mcafee is usually about $100 per year so not that bad price wise if you are into buying security products. AVG and ZA fan here so to me it is a bit of a waste of money. I'm guessing there are x 2 license's here for $15.90. sam m (517)

I've used that in the past and it didn't pick up a nasty virus that I had on my computer, however the free AOL one did. I don't think it has any spam protection either. I wasn't particually impressed with it.

511139 2007-01-01 06:35:00 Bit of topic perhaps but check your Xtra charge. Got my bill yesterday and they'd charged $59.95 instead of the homeline charge of $49.95. Cheers !
Perhaps it would be appropriate to pay them with Monopoly money? :)

511140 2007-01-01 12:11:00 Xtra were still charging me $15.90 a month for their security service which i had with them.I have been with orcon for two months now and xtra were still charging me for their security service, so i flicked an email off to them last week and im pleased to report that xtra have decided to refund me $30 back to my account.A very rare instance for xtra to refund me in such short time after only one e mail.

Lol, I think that they still owe you around $1.80. Fight for it:2cents:
