724501 2008-12-01 02:26:00 When I try to boot my PC everything whirrs into life, but the screen stays off. It is plugged in... Does this mean my CPU is buggered? It is a little chipped on one edge. It's a duron 1100. sammo450 (13626)
724502 2008-12-01 02:30:00 Does it beep more than once? Speedy Gonzales (78)
724503 2008-12-03 03:31:00 No beeps. I think the mobo has a buzzer. sammo450 (13626)
724504 2008-12-03 03:34:00 Remove the RAM - power up the PC, it should beep with error's indicating no RAM. What Happens ???

Does the screen say " No Signal" ??? Try unplugging the monitor from the PC, you should get the No signal message or something similar.

Edited: what color is the power LED on the monitor when the PC tries to boot - Green or orange/brownish ??

724506 2008-12-05 01:18:00 No the 'No Signal' goes off when I plug it in. Tried the RAM out, no difference. Not sure about the LED. It seems a bit dead to me. sammo450 (13626)
