| 724318 | 2008-11-29 23:01:00 | HI all DVD drive problem The Mat****a UJ 820S DVD drive in my Toshiba M30 is acting up. A lot (most) of the time, when I put in a DVD or CD, it doesnt get recognised in My Computer and I get the message D: is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. Yet, once in a while it will work. For instance this morning I put in Novembers PC World and it started with no problem at all, but December's wouldnt work. When I tried the November one again that didnt work either. When I look at the drive in Device Manager it tells me it is working properly and there is no little yellow circle with the black exclamation mark by it! Any help/suggestions gratefully accepted I am using Win XP PRO SP 2 |
