513603 2007-01-07 08:40:00 So, fibbling about with wikipedia, I came across an article on xtra.

If you can't be bothered to look for the funny thing, here:

'This 'Go large' plan has been widely criticised by geeks and those with no life other than their computer but in reality represents a big step forward for New Zealand broadband.'

If this hasn't been done by some Telecom guy, I don't know who did. :p

513604 2007-01-07 08:48:00 That's a pretty disgusting and biased article. It's also spamming a completely irrelevant reference link. Greg (193)
513605 2007-01-07 08:50:00 Exactly. Especially when it has been put in contrast. qazwsxokmijn (102)
513606 2007-01-07 08:57:00 Fixed it for future reference. trinsic (6945)

It's partly locally owned by NZ share holders and a large chunk of it is owned by overseas investors. Overall Telecom has the same business type mentality as Microsoft. They are both good a promising lots and delivering crap and bitching when ever they have competition forced upon them.

513609 2007-01-07 09:50:00 This is the first Wikipeida article i have found which has been altered in some way, i guess since its a NZ article its not viewed that many times so it wasnt picked up as fast noone (22)
513610 2007-01-07 09:53:00 "Most TradeMe forum contributors aggree, that Xtra broadband is a ripoff.
"

Huh?

513611 2007-01-07 09:55:00 Well TradeMe users would represent 2/3 of the country, except that it would be more accurate to just say that the ENTIRE country knows that Telecom "broadband" (read fast dial up) is a complete rip off as is Telecom. winmacguy (3367)
