513242 2007-01-06 12:07:00 Howcome there's a limit on the number of smilie/frownie faces that you can put in an individual post (not complaining..I would abuse it sometimes...so it's a good thing)...but you can view more than that limit on the posts when you scroll thru them all?

What I mean is this (4AM thinking here) ..if I am limited to four stupid face-thingy's, then how/why can the whole page actually show four from my post, four from the preceeding and four from the next post all at the same time.

That's a total of .......(let me count fingers and toes here..I am base10) ....12 stupid faces...right?

What's the limiting factor..rendering? Bandwidth? Arbitrary rule? 		SurferJoe46 (51)
513243 2007-01-06 12:08:00 Rule built into the vBulletin software. you would think they could not apply the rule to quotes, its really annoying..

I wanna see you put more than 4 in the actual body of your post..go on..just try to!

note: I tried to put 4, then 2 and now NO groan-ies right here..because it wouldn't work!

I tried 4 groan-ies...and got this message:

1. You have included 9 images in your message. You are limited to using 5 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

Images include use of smilies, the vB code [img] tag and HTML <img> tags. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator.

Then...I got rid of two groan-ies and got this:

You have included 6 images in your message. You are limited to using 5 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

Images include use of smilies, the vB code [img] tag and HTML <img> tags. The use of these is all subject to them being enabled by the administrator.

So..you can see that the original smug-face-thingy's are additive in nature and the ones you quote also count against you....see? 		SurferJoe46 (51)

5 + 4 = 9 . . . OK so far

Now, take two away and get this:

9 - 2 = 6 OH Yeah ?!?!?
