I thought it would be a good idea to drag my son when he was 3 up to the light house, ended up having to put him on my shoulders on the way down.
bad mistake

513207 2007-01-06 09:37:00 The 3rd to last one has the best composition. You have got the land mass in the top 1/3 of the frame and the water with boaties taking up the other 2/3rds which looks really good.

The others look like great camping and fishing spots.

Heh heh heh, I had my boy with me, No way was I taking him up those steps, I was watching people having to get off the steps and cling to what looked like a vertical hillside to let others past, My boy would have flipped right out.

anyhow, First 2 photos are at Castle Point, third and fourth are at Lake Ferry, Fifth and sixth at Cape Palliser

Hope you don't mind but I snagged one of them for a desktop . . OK?

I noticed in the one with the boat on the water that there's a person standing a little further out from the boat . . . is this person almost walking on water?

Nice shots thought . . great composition and color . The area looks kinda like Laguna Beach in years passed . The ocean was up close to the small service roads that ran all along the beach . . and there were houses on the small facing-cliffs .

One cannot see the small roads nor the little homes any more as they've all been removed for palatial homes on stilts and cliff overhangs for the ocean view . Most of these new homes are $50-$200 million each . . and some don't last thru a winter rain . They like to slide down the soaked bluffs at an alarming rate .

Ahh! Insurance!

Sorry I didn't get to see them until now . . . about 02:53 (AM) Jan 6, as I just got home from being with my wife at the hospital for her dying father . We don't now if he's going to make it, but she stayed with him tonight as I came home to feed the animals and take care of some of the "house-type" things .

I'll have to go back there by 8AM to take over and let her get some sleep .

He's very old, has fully metastisized cancer thru him and now having strokes and heart attacks . . . all at the same time .

Your pictures and a cup of coffee made the morning nicer for me . . . thanks . . . . .

I'll get over there some day . . . keep that beer cold in the fridge for me .
