| 512380 | 2007-01-03 10:12:00 | I noticed that the windows repair part of the FAQ is currently empty, so I started creating a Microsoft word document to explain it. www.filefactory.com There were a couple of details I wasn't quite sure on (I've marked them with comments) so would someone be kind enough to finish it off & post it as a wiki on FAQF1? |

| 512382 | 2007-01-03 11:52:00 | I would be happy to stick it up once it’s complete :) (I can’t complete it as I have never yet done a repair with XP, sorry) | stu161204 (123) | ||
| 512383 | 2007-01-03 20:41:00 | when doing a repair I think at some stage it asks for the administrator password at least on the ones I have done it does (hopefully you remember this password) but I have found on most pc I done this there is no andminstartor account password | beama (111) | ||
| 512384 | 2007-01-04 00:27:00 | If i make you an account, would you do it yourself? I dont know if any of us will be able to right now (i know i wont be able to anyway) it is the holiday season. I'll give it a go. Is it fairly straight-forward to create a wiki? Can anyone remember at what point it asks you to create a new user? when doing a repair I think at some stage it asks for the administrator password at least on the ones I have done it does (hopefully you remember this password) but I have found on most pc I done this there is no andminstartor account password It doesn't ask you for the administrator password unless you go into the recovery console. |
