| 511702 | 2007-01-01 17:00:00 | I was working on that other puter last night (New Year Night) when Speedy was so much help for the I-Worm/Stration ( . pcworld . co . nz/showthread . php?t=75512" target="_blank">pressf1 . pcworld . co . nz) thing, and had to export the addresses out of Netzon . net e-mail handler . Setting up the new addresses in GMail was not do-able because of the format in which Netzon handles the names etc . I got a neat idea and decided to open an email in Netzon, and address to "ALL" addresses, and then c/p the addresses that were in the header into a GMail blank form . Once you send anything to anyone in GMail, it automatically enters the addresses into it's own address book . There they were . . right where I wanted them to be . . . even though Netzon would not let me export/import them to GMail in the first place . I have never gotten the import/export thing to work anyway in GMail . . . it says you have to generate fields in EXCELL to do it and that's too much trouble I think . . . so this might be easier for anyone else too . |
