Then again, thank goodness for Quicktime Alternative It's crossplatform and free unless you buy the pro version. Although I undestand that WMV is better for streaming video for dialup (yay.....) |

| 512598 | 2007-01-05 05:16:00 | Well, read over the thread, and uninstalled Real Player- lappie has been on a go slow for a while, so I figured it was time for a clean out (have the feeling a HJT thread is coming up anyways! :lol: )... ... only to find that BBC radio needs it to stream music through! Bugger! Giving the alternative version a crack now, hopefully it'll integrate okay... wish me luck! |

| 512600 | 2007-01-08 13:16:00 | real player is the only media player i hate more than quicktime:annoyed: real pain-in-the-ass player is crap for all of the above reasons "quick" time is hardly quick, fast, or even average . somehow it always takes much longer than windows media player to load, but M$ may be to blame for this - i wouldnt put it past them windows media player does what i tell it to, and is there whether or not i like it so to hell with the others like winamp even if they are good! i'm sick of lemons! |
