| 512368 | 2007-01-04 09:12:00 | If you are a fond trademe user and cannot be with out it for more than a couple of hours, making a buck here and a buck there. How the hell did you get on last night? Apparently Trademe had a bit of a hardware failure. Astonishing really, would you think that they would clone their server and have a back up so that they could keep earning money. Silly really. I think that old Sam Morgan would have done a better job if he were still the owner. I know I know he is still apart of the business but its has seemed to lose its touch since he has gone. Any ways this is the poor excuses that Tradme gave to its traders: 4 January - 6:10 am: Site outage overnight Trade Me was unavailable from 8:50 pm last night to 6:10 am this morning due to a major equipment failure. All auctions scheduled to close between 8:50 pm and 8:00 am have been extended by 24 hours. Eg. an auction scheduled to close at 10 pm last night will now close at 10 pm tonight. We sincerely apologise to all the Trade Me community for the disruption and inconvenience this outage has caused. We will post further updates here if other relevant information comes to hand. You think if TV 1 and TV3 can broadcast Auctions on Prime TV that they could at least have broadcast on the 10:30 Late News. Any ways. If you think that this is a bit piss poor let me know and I will start the letter of complaint in motion. HAHA Let me know your thoughts about the matter. |
