2008-12-02 00:36:00 | yes, it is part of a two disc set, disc 1 plays fine but not disc two which is the problem. | GameJunkie (72) | |
2008-12-02 00:45:00 | try giving it a clean with something like isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth / tissue or some sort of CD cleaning fluid, could be something on the CD surface that is causing it not to read. What you can also do is copy the original CD and see if the copy plays OK.

2008-12-02 02:29:00 | Clean the centre of the CD, that's where the TOC (table of contents) hides and if it gets a bit greasy from fingers or grease-creep from the heat in the car it may not play. It is not necessarily common knowledge that CDs and DVDs play from the centre outwards and this has worked for a few of my CDs. Cheers Billy 8-{)

2008-12-02 03:02:00 | found some contact cleaner, would that do the job? | GameJunkie (72) | |
2008-12-02 04:48:00 | What "contact" cleaner? I would just use mild dishwash liquid in water if they are greasy or just plain water and a soft cloth if not. Wipe from the centre of the CD outwards, not round and round. | FoxyMX (5) | |
