724369 2008-11-30 20:46:00 Any comments on this Browser yet?

My Aussie Brother-in-law recommends it, but I thought I'd check here first.

I hate advertising and suspect it may come with all the baggage of Google Toolbar and Yahoo Toolbar. :thanks

724375 2008-11-30 21:37:00 IMO Google Chrome is too simple. pcuser42 (130)
724376 2008-11-30 23:56:00 I like simple ... Everything done from the Address bar, searching Google, searching history, searching a website like TradeMe, you name it! Chilling_Silence (9)
724377 2008-12-01 02:30:00 I reckon it has some great features such as super fast page load times, the 'most visited' homepage, and the clean visuals. I started using when firefox packed sads and crashed every time I used it. Chrome takes seconds to load and then browses fast - even on my old dog of a machine. sammo450 (13626)
724378 2008-12-01 03:57:00 I admit that its faster(especially with javascript reliant sites) but its still a small player in the browser market and lacks in features.
I wouldn't use it as a primary browser just yet, I would wait until google made more addons and added more features.

As for chrome sending your history back to google, its true, but just use Chromium, which is basically Chrome without the "send data back to google" bit.
