725426 2008-12-03 10:02:00 Looking at buying a new graphics card for a bit of occasional gaming.
Price range of $150 to $200 mark.
Have AGP slot on the P5 board.

Have been looking at the cards like Sapphire Radeon HD3650
Or perhaps the ASUS Extreme AH3850.

Have no special preference for ATI or nVidia.

Any views and recommendations would be good.

Cheers John

Would you both consider that card to be a better buy than this card.

No thoughts on the 3650 and 3850 series cards. perhaps a little more money for better card, or not so perhaps

725433 2008-12-04 07:03:00 the 3850 looks pretty good GameJunkie (72)
725434 2008-12-04 08:15:00 The X1650 Pro is indeed good value but if you really want something fast your should get the Nvidia 9600GSO.

Got a pretty good review (9.5/10) in the recent issue of PC WORLD.

Only around 160 bucks too
